Understanding My Pipe Rating System | Watch This Before the Series!

In this short video I walk through the numbering system I use for rating pipes in the Smoking Pipe Rundown series — so I don't have to explain it every single episode! Each pipe gets a unique ID number built from a few parts: the video number, a condition score (how much work it needs), a "love number" (how much I personally like it), a market value estimate (what I think others would pay), and the pipe's position in that episode. Some pipes also get a source letter — P for Poland, L for a lot purchase, K for pipes from a friend. It's a pretty simple system once you see it laid out, and I'll be linking back to this video in future episodes so new viewers can always find it. #SmokingPipeRundown #PipeSmoking #EstatePipes #PipeCollecting #BriarPipe #PipeRestoration #VintagePipes #PipeCommunity #PipeSmoker
